Canals and River

Bamnidaha Lake flows through Mokarimpur Union Parishad in Bheramara upazila of Kushtia district. There is also the river Hisna. There are several villages along this river. The canal has recently been newly excavated. The canal has a lot of fish on rainy days. The fishermen here make a living by selling these fish. There is no big water body in the union. There are many small and big bills. There are many kinds of crops in the year. There are many government and privately owned ponds here. The fish farming in the ponds is the main source of income for the people of the area.
